The week is almost over and it's time for some re-invented leftovers...
...a shepherd's pie, and old school casserole
Thursday: get cosyThe leftover ragu-mama was transformed by adding a couple of hefty teaspoons of smoky paprika and a cup of sliced crimini mushrooms.
Served with fresh dill and sour cream on the side.
And a big, steaming bowl of red potatoes, boiled and served with lashings of butter and more dill.
Maybe some steamed broccoli or sauteed spinach if you're in the mood for something green.
And a delicious, spicy old vine Zinfandel!
