take a leaf from mother nature give the flowers a break. the ground is covered with the most spectacular foliage; gather some leaves, put them in a plastic bag with a couple of sheets of paper towel to absorb the moisture, then pile the leaves into a big bowl and feature them as a table centerpiece. add a few drops of essential oil; ceder, bergamot... a tip if you decide to carve the mini pumpkins or gourds; they are TOUGH! steam them for 5 minutes to soften the skin, then use a paring knife to cut out letters or faces. be careful: there will be some steam inside the gourds and the knife is very sharp use some brilliant leaves to line a dinner plate, then place the soup bowl on top of them | ||||
