1/4 cup Leggo's Tomato Paste

2 -3 tablespoons Vodka

1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 small chili, thinly sliced (seeds removed if you're a wimp)

squeeze lemon or lime juice

black pepper

12 colossal / large peeled, deveined green prawns

green salad leaves and / or pasta

 

you will need:

  • baking sheet
  • pastry brush
  • 2 ramekins

time: 5 mins 

plus 5 minutes grilling

bloody mary prawns

As easy as mixing a cocktail, only you have a delicious meal at the end!

(and maybe a cocktail as well...)

Combine: Leggo's Tomato Paste, Vodka, Worcestershire Sauce, sliced chili, lemon or lime juice and freshly cracked black pepper.

Push: a bamboo skewer through each prawn.

Grill: or barbecue the prawns for 2-3 minutes on each side.

Serves 2 with a green salad or on top of some steaming hot pasta.

Tip: soak the bamboo skewers in warm water for 10 minutes to prevent them burning during the cooking.
